Aquasound

Built a wearable underwater communication system that integrates into standard dive gloves to enable reliable diver to diver interaction in low visibility conditions. The device uses flex sensors and an IMU to recognize calibrated hand gestures, processes data onboard with a microcontroller, and transmits messages via infrared rather than audio. Designed with input from experienced divers, the system improves safety and usability beyond traditional hand signals without adding bulky equipment.
